Humanities

Medical Ethics (Professor Carl Friedrich Gethmann), Cognitive Science (Professor Dirk Hartmann) and Anthropological and Moral Philosophy (Professor Neil Roughley) define central strands of research at the Institute of Philosophy. The European network project, “Rethinking the Philosophy of Action”, which is supervised by Professor Thomas Spitzley and was funded by the Leverhulme Trust (Great Britain) until September 2010, will be continued.
