The engineering scientists at the University of Duisburg-Essen lead the field in nanotechnology, environmental technology, automotive engineering, economics and microelectronics. Top-level research is also performed in ship propulsion, mobile phone system optimisation, civil engineering, media technology and optoelectronics.
