Engineering

The Department is intensifying its research activities in order to strengthen its performance parameters and reflect and sustain the positive trend in third-party funding of the past few years. Projects relating to maintenance, building in context, sustainability, quality of performance and information processing in civil engineering are to be extended. Special emphasis will also be placed on environmental technology and energy efficiency, with the aim of strengthening the Department’s profile in the respective areas.
