The Gottschalk-Diederich-Baedeker Award 2007 went to Dr. Nils Hartmann in recognition of his habilitation thesis work.
Dr. Cedrik Meier was elected by the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Science to the Junior Chamber.
Dr. Viktoria Sokolova received the Klee Award of the German Society of Biomedical Technology for 2007 and the Doctoral Candidate Award of the German Society of Biomaterials.
