IWW has been conducting interdisciplinary research in the water sector for over 30 years. Its spectrum of activities ranges from basic research to practical application development, consultancy and further education. The IWW’s working areas cover the entire water supply, and range from water-resource management, water technology, and water quality, to water networks, applied microbiology and management consultancy. The research activities focus on four strategic research fields:
