Transfer and Sustainability

As a member of the JRF, ZfTI is regularly scientifically evaluated. It publishes the results of its work not only in a scientific context (see the selected literature), but also attaches great import­ance to the transfer of its findings to the public domain and into politics. The presentation of the results of the evaluation of Islamic regional education by project leader Prof. Hacı-Halil Uslucan in an exclusive discussion with Chancellor Merkel on 25 September 2018, his presentation of the results of the multi-topic survey at Johns Hopkins University on 17 April 2019 and his speech at the Osnabrück Peace Talks on 31 October 2019 all served to highlight the transfer activities of the ZfTI. ZfTI staff participated in interviews or commentaries in ZEIT, SPIEGEL, ZDF, WDR, Deutschlandfunk, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Focus among others.

With the “ZfTI Policy Paper” and “ZfTI aktuell” publication series, the Institute maintains publication series that are particularly useful for transfer purposes.
