Project „ZIM-HPC-HUB“
The CCSS and ZIM launched the ZIM-HPCHUB project to provide a central solution for other applications that require higher computing power but neither a parallel file system nor a high-speed interconnect between the compute nodes. The project sets out to make computing capacity and storage resources based on virtual servers in the ZIM’s central server rooms available to users on demand and billed incrementally. The first use cases were launched in 2017.
