The Center for Nanointegration Duisburg-Essen (CENIDE) has coordinated research and teaching in nanoscience at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) since 2005. It brings together the expertise of over 65 research groups from the natural and engineering sciences and medicine in work ranging from basic research to fabrication and processing of functional nanomaterials. CENIDE is one of the largest nanoscience research groups in the German-speaking world and cooperates closely with various partners including non-university research institutions and notable names in industry.
