Looking ahead to 2011–2012, the Institute of Vocational and Further Education plans to set up a scientific workgroup to look at the subject of “faculty culture”, which will include workshops and conferences, and also intends to intensify its work on ongoing projects in gender-related university research.
Further evaluation/intervention studies are planned by the Institute of Sports Science and Kinesiology for the coming years 2011–2012.
At the Institute of Community Development and Consultation (ISSAB), research collaboration with the Bern University of Applied Sciences on comparisons and perspectives in child protection in Switzerland and Germany is currently in preparation. Evaluation of a project of the Alsterdorf Foundation in Hamburg dealing with social inclusion through social space orientation will be another main focus of ISSAB in 2011/12.
