Social Sciences

The Faculty of Social Sciences consists of four institutes – the Institute of Political Science, the Institute of Sociology, the Institute for Development and Peace (INEF) and the Institute for Work, Skills and Training (IAQ). Each institute has a specific focus of research, and each produces outstanding results. As the specialist fields are all integrated in one of the UDE’s profile research areas, “Change in Contemporary Societies”, they interact with and complement one another.
