Cooperative Projects and International Orientation

CME is currently engaged in numerous cooperative projects both nationally and internationally. The most striking example that comes to mind here is the successful collaboration that has been in progress for four years now with Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen in the Netherlands. The two universities have joined forces to initiate and promote a large number of joint projects and are currently working together to develop the “International Research Universities Network” (IRUN).

Furthermore, academic exchange with China and the USA has been stepped up. The establishment of the ConRuhr Office in New York City, in particular, was an important milestone in this context. The international cooperation with Jordan (German-Jordanian University Jordan and Al-Balqa University) was initiated in 2006 and intensified in 2007.
